Flowers are not…

…the most important part of your day.

Hang on, let me clarify.

Having ultimate control over your flowers is not the most important part of your day. THAT’S what I mean.

At the end of the day, we - all suppliers - are here merely to enhance the un-enhanceable; love.

It would be foolishness for me not to promote flowers for your wedding day, but let them be something that can delight you and surprise you. For this, you probably need to set a limit on how many images you pin to your Pinterest board, and how many hours you spend discussing options with your florist ;)

And we all need to let go of assuming perfection is possible. The greatest gift of nature is always the lesson we cannot know in advance. Be surprised. And allow your flowers (and florist) the freedom to surprise and delight you.
