Jamie and Ed
Jamie and Ed were an absolute joy to work with. We met in the spring thanks to Bryony, of Blue Door Barns, and they gave me a really clear vision for their day from the start. We were to transform the Riding School at Firle Place into an elegant dining room for their black tie wedding in the autumn that year.
As they were both living and working in London, we kept in touch over the months and didn’t meet again until the day of their wedding. As ideas evolved and plans adjusted we emailed and sent photos. And I can’t recommend Firle Place or Blue Door Barns enough for couples who are organising their day from London, or beyond; the time, care, and expertise Bryony and her team provide are invaluable and certainly make the whole process easy and enjoyable.
Jamie and Ed wanted to keep the arrangements fairly smart and elegant, so a striped-back palette of whites, creams, and a touch of blue was chosen, with plenty of foliage to provide impact.
Each significant woman was given a gift of a small posy to carry, whilst Jamie and Ed chose simple buttonholes for their dinner jackets.
Look at the love here, people!!
“We thought your were an absolute dream to work with and we loved your work and flexibility.” Thanks, Jamie and Ed, for inviting me to provide flowers for your day – I loved every minute!
