Holly & Alex
Firle Place, East Sussex
Late spring
Firle Place, nestled amongst the soft rolling hills of the south downs and on the edge of Firle in East Sussex provided the quintessentially English setting for this sweet and sumptuous event.
With family joining from London and Canada, this was an opportunity to treat guests to a whirlwind celebration of love.
As spring comes to an end some of our best loved and most decadent of flowers are still available to us; blousy Peonies, tumbling open Tulips with Alliums, butterfly Ranunculus and toffee-coloured Roses.
A palette of amber, orange, sugar-pink and lilac. Colours were chosen that would sing in the beautiful, open space of the Riding School at Firle Place.
Allowing the space of the Riding School to remain open and uncluttered, the flowers on the tables become the focal point, drawing the eye to where the guests would be mingling and enjoying food throughout the day.
Open blousy blooms and saturated colour provided all the decoration needs for the modern, welcoming space of the Riding School.
